Credit Suisse (CS.N) Swiss business director Andre Helfenstein said in an interview that some depositors withdrew some of their assets, but only a very small number of customers closed their accounts. The bank lost 1% of its asset base in Switzerland, and client assets have stabilized. The option to spin off the Swiss and international businesses was not considered, nor was the sale of the private client business and asset management business discussed.
