New features and optimizations include: Efficient Mode: Allows users to increase their supply and borrowing of related assets such as stablecoins and liquid collateralized derivatives (LSDs) Capital efficiency; isolation mode: while maintaining the security of the protocol, more assets are allowed to be listed on Aave in isolation mode as collateral to isolate liquidity risks; Gas optimization: comprehensively reduce the gas cost related to all functions by about 20-25 %.
